Mike Partain serves as an advocate for those poisoned from contaminated water on the Camp Lejeune Marine base. Mike received exposure to Lejeune’s contaminated water in-utero and as a baby which resulted in him developing male breast cancer at the age of 39. Since 2007, Mike has served as a community representative for those exposed to chemically contaminated water at Camp Lejeune. Since then, Mike has become recognized as a Camp Lejeune expert and has testified twice for the U.S. Congress. President Obama also invited Mike to the White House for the signing of the 2012 Janey Ensminger Act. Before becoming a Camp Lejeune Advocate, he worked as a history teacher at Bartow High School in Polk County, North Carolina and he now works in the insurance industry
