Trisha Widowfield is skilled trial lawyer and a partner at Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm. Trish has extensive experience representing individuals, entire families, and corporations throughout Florida. She handles a multitude of complex civil litigation matters, but she focuses on medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases. Most recently, Trish recovered $6.46 million for a client when she served as trial co-counsel in the largest wrongful death jury verdict in Volusia County, Florida.
Before she became a plaintiffs’ lawyer, Trish spent a decade defending hospitals and medical professionals in malpractice lawsuits. And before that, Trish worked as a claims adjuster.
Trish is extremely involved in the community and focuses her efforts on the advancement of women lawyers. She serves as the Vice President of Ms. Esquire, a social media-based networking group comprised of thousands of women lawyers nationwide. She also is involved with the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, specifically their Miami-Dade and Central Florida chapters.
